10 Mins
4 Servings

Ingredients

2 pound Fresh Chicken Wings

1/2 cup ketchup

2 tablespoon vegetable oil

1 tablespoon vinegar

2 teaspoon honey

1 tablespoon hot pepper sauce, or to taste

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes, crushed

This homemade hot pepper sauce with red pepper flakes brings the heat to classic chicken wings. Serve with blue cheese and celery sticks to cool it down.

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 425 °F. Cover rack of broiler pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Cut off wing tips; discard. Cut remaining wing into two parts at joint. Combine ketchup, oil, vinegar, honey, hot sauce and pepper flakes in medium bowl. Dip chicken into mixture, coating well. Place on foil-lined pan.

3. Bake wings, turning once, 35 minutes or until done (internal temp 170 °F) and edges begin to crisp.
